Has anyone here managed to land a job as of late? How long did it take you to find one? What kind of role were you able to secure?

Part of PwC deals with an accounting background. I’m currently pursuing a MS in data analytics. PwC deals has a data analytics group but I don’t want to put all my hope in an internal transfer. Has anyone here pivoted into a data analyst role from big 4? What did you do in order to make it happen?

Considering switching to a hybrid or fully WFH position, does anyone here have a role like that? What are some of the pros/cons?

How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

Has anyone switched from a traditional private credit role (3 to 4 person deal teams) to an independent sourcing / execution role (you are the deal team), also in private credit. How difficult was the transition? Any advice?

Why would a luxury watch brand make/sell connected or smart watches? What is the business reason for it? To me it just kills the brand value. For instance I was a big fan of Montblanc but after I see their smart watch line up I instantly devalued the brand in general. Same for Tag (tag is questionable anyways), or Breitling. Lately, I've been hearing a lot from my peers about how sales isn't a real profession.
I work at a tech startup and it mostly comprises developers. They can't stop emphasizing their importance in the food chain and I can't figure if I'm too humble or they're too arrogant.
This yapping comes from people I've known since college. I have successfully blocked all such negativity but wanted to know if anyone here has faced such scenarios.
