Has anyone here worked for Horne LLP ? I had an interview recently, and it felt fishy.

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

Yeah don’t do it. The company is very unorganized. I’ve talked to people in several divisions and projects, it is very easy to “slip through the cracks” and not make it out and grow.
HR is very unorganized and is attempting to reform how the manage talent. That is probably one of the reasons why you had a confusing interview situation.
It is VERY heavily reliant on the type of boss/manager you are assigned to.
The company is growing a ton and there might be potential here. But from a personal growth and development standpoint I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The only good case would be if you’re interested in staying in the Mississippi area.
Haven't heard anything about them, but based on your post alone I wouldn't take the job. It sounds unorganized, sketchy, and like the company culture does not prioritize professionalism or communication. If the interviewer "forgot" to tell you anything about the job, chances are it's because they've had trouble getting people to take the position for some reason or another. My advice is to get out of there.
Hey, that does sound strange and not a great first impression. From my experience, it’s a great company to work for, and HR doesn’t send much written information about the position until they send a job offer but do usually communicate it over the phone or zoom or by request. If you are wondering about the position, feel free to ask them about it or go on their website and look at the job posting. HORNE is growing fast but some offices may have limited positions in certain focus areas, I hope you can get in where you want to be!
