My friends and I when we go out

wish i had friends 😭

Just an FYI Gaetz also “raised” an immigrant child without any actual paperwork and is not a blood relative.
“Geatz did not formally adopt Nestor (and he declines to discuss Nestor’s relationship with his biological family now). He re-frames the matter, saying, “Our relationship as a family is defined by our love for each other, not by any paperwork.”

Oh man, I'm so sorry about your situation. Leaving an abusive relationship is so tough because there are usually many ties. However, I would recommend getting out at all costs. It's not worth it to stay. Find help. There are so many people and organizations ready to help women in those situations.

I don’t know you but sending lots of love and good thoughts your way ❤️
Your safety is so much more important than anything else, especially a job.
Sending you love and positive thoughts.
If you feel comfortable sharing high level with superior or HR I would do so - maybe even just you’re dealing with something personal and may need more flexibility in your schedule.
Also, I would recommend when you get ready to make your move out of the relationship to take some time off to focus on your needs and get settled.
Do you have friends or family to help? If not, I would think there are organizations in your area that could help and likely keep things discrete. You can deal with the legals later of getting half of your home value.
I've worked with HR to get employees into safe situations, so I'd consider asking HR (but ask to speak to someone senior).
Leaving abusive relationships can create situations of danger for women so please look at online resources for how to leave safely.
I don't know you, but I'm so impressed with the strength you show in this post. You're moving mountains for yourself and your future but untangling this. I hope you're ready for it, that you have adequate support, and that you treat yourself with a lot of grace for the incredible thing you're about to do.
I'm rooting for you.

Also - might be worth talking to HR in case he / she shows up at your place of work after you leave
So sorry for your situation. Wishing you all the very best. I agree with others that you may want to reach out to HR.
It takes a lot of strength to accept and move out of it so kudos to you.
Stay safe. Rooting for you 💕
