When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

Update: I’m going to Amsterdam 🙃
Take me with you!
No it won't happen and here's why it's ok - Europe has better perks like free healthcare and life is cheaper in general.
Thanks all. I’ve done a bit of research and talked to a few people about it. There is something called the 30% ruling for the Netherlands that I can apply for. It’s basically a tax break for expats. I’m in the process of interviewing the teams now before going through the visa process. Will keep y’all updated on the latest and greatest.
Salaries in Europe are generally lower than in the US but ask anyone that has made the move here and they’ll tell you that quality of life is higher. If you move within an agency you are bound by local salary banding unless they need to move you to Europe, then you’d have room for negotiation and could ask that they match your salary. You can leverage your US salary and expertise if you move not only countries but also jobs...which is what i did. I went from an agency to in-house. So my salary is now is about 30% above average. I would pick Amsterdam over London. You can expect a similar salary but higher quality of life. But yes, key is to not look at European salaries from an American perspective. The majority of countries here are social democracies, so you get a lot more bang for your buck (except maybe in London though healthcare in the UK is for free).
Yes, I moved from NY to London and my salary was matched. But from what others have told me, that’s generally unheard of.
When you factor in the free healthcare, you are game my friend
Give us the details, OP! How??
It was quite a whirlwind. Sorry, for the late response on this, but the process took about 2 months. I had an offer with Droga5 and McCann, so I naturally presented it to my Head of Talent and she said, “Don’t go. It’s not worth it.” She came back 24 hours later and presented the opportunity to interview with 2 of our local offices and I ended up moving forward with Amsterdam!
Life is not generally cheaper in London.
Europe is like the States... different cities have differing costs of living. Use expat sites and do lots of research. Are you making the move?
Netherlands used to have a special, lower tax for people hired from abroad that you could apply for. Not sure if it still exists
It still exists as far as I know
You also need a work permit, or be sponsored by an agency. Otherwise it’s illegal for you to work there
Congrats! Out of curiosity (and partly because I’m looking to do the same), did you go through your current agency or a headhunter?
Sorry, haven’t been on here in awhile, but I went through my current agency!
More deets please. How did you find the gig?
