Has anyone made the switch from a commercial adjacent role (e.g., CI, forecasting, market research) to a marketing role in pharma? If so, would you mind sharing your experience / how you managed to do so? I don’t have years of marketing experience but I came from a strategy consulting background to a CI role at the AD level, and while I work very closely with my commercial colleagues, I’m not sure how to bridge the gap needed to get a marketing role (I’m open to dropping to senior manager level)

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree.
