I work as a clinical director for a mental health facility and typically hire masters students as clinical assistants (filing, helping with auditing charts, etc.) Maybe something along those lines? I was an RBT while in grad school. It was great for flexibility when I started interning, but exhausting.
I would love to do something like that, thank you.
Are you interested in occupational or speech therapy? Or being a developmental specialist for early intervention? Those are all ways to work with children on the spectrum and/or with differing abilities!

Have you considered Life Coaching? Maybe with parents and teens with Autism. I do that.

I am in private practice. I am not aware of any. ABA has such a big hold that most companies probably could not compete.
Life coaching seems to be the way to save money and survive instead of giving it all to the Universities. I was a tech for many years and did the work for many BCBA's even though I wasn't certified. The field has become a joke with the BACB board taking over other certification boards and state licensing choosing just one accredited board over all others such as th QABA Board. BCBA business owners seem to fight over clients and pay very low wages to techs and assistant behavior analyts. Insurance panels have cut pay for ABA services across the board children are put on long waiting lists to be seen by the corporations taking over the US. Become a consultant and you free yourself from corporate America. You will see that your income will increase significantly. I am an addiction counselor now and finishing my doctoral degree in Psychology. If I knew then what I know now, I would have become a life coach and started my own practice. I owe tons in student loans and if I worked for a company as a psychologist I would never make enough to pay it all back. Private practice and consulting are the way to go. Hope my experience helps! FYI: Universities and Corporate America will not share this with you.
