Has anyone opted for Chase Sapphire Preferred instead of CSR? The $495 CSR annual fee is turning me off.

Lol @D1
It's absolutely worth it. With a annual $300 travel credit, it's effectively $150/year and you get 50% more points on travel and dining plus higher redemption rate
It's absolutely worth it.

like

The fee is $450 unless they recently changed it.

like

^ plus with the fee that you would pay for Preferred, it's only a ~50 increment of preferred to reserve.

like

And there are a lot more benefits too. Free priority pass, global entry application refund, etc

like

CSP doesn't make sense anymore at all

like

I had the preferred before and didn't bother upgrading. Points didn't seem that much better given the fee

And that's not even including the 100,000 point bonus... Lol

^ I'm getting it again simply for the 55k points (with additional card)

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? We are moving from Vegas to Sacramento and we are not sure how long we would stay in the new area. Thoughts?

Had a really bad day 😞 I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself. Things will be going well and then out of nowhere I get blackout drunk. I am tired of feeling sick and anxious from drinking. I don’t really even want to drink sometimes but do it anyway. Blacked out last night, and still feel sick now. I’ve never shared with anyone that I have this problem, until I found this message board. I have so much anxiety that I won’t be able to get this under control. I feel isolated and sad.
