I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. What does it mean if you get feedback such as “know the room better?” I came across a team email that was addressed to my account team, and I approached my boss about my response to it. Then he gave me this feedback and told me not to engage in the conversation. Funny thing is a strategy lead just responded back to the team with the exact response I came up with, and my boss agreed with her...
