Has anyone taken a new in house role while undergoing IVF? I’m planning to let the team know about a medical procedure timeline, and I plan to use COBRA to extend my current insurance to cover the surgeries (I need at least 2), but curious if anyone has swung this before because the daily bloodwork and testing I assume is hard to explain.

This was me. I moved to a faang that gave generous reproductive benefits and immediately did two rounds. I didn't miss any work other than the day of the surgery and for the first round the day after the surgery. I told my female manager and she was very supportive. The bloodwork and ultrasounds are early morning (7am) so I would just go to the office straight from the appt. First round I was pretty groggy in the office during the second week but it was totally fine.

The monitoring appointments are usually early in the morning. Shouldn’t be an issue other than the surgeries.

You don't plan to enroll in your new company's plan then? Just plan carefully. You lose cobra benefits if you enroll in another plan. Similarly, im not sure you can get coverage outside an open enrollment period if you elect cobra and just stop paying.

Based on my limited research - yes. I looked into this myself briefly for similar reasons. My inhouse provider has fertility benefits (subject to deductible and out of pocket max) and mu husband's doesnt

We have yearly reviews in December but no talks of raise have been discussed. Any help on approaching this to my boss?

One of my friends works as a Director in Nagarro. She has been there for 7 years and has a CTC of 42 with total yoe 17. Per current trend this is low even though she is a constant top performer. She says that even though delivery people play a pivotal role, they are not paid well. In her team, she sees technical people earning 45-50 at 10-11 yoe. So the factor is 2.5 for delivery vs 4.5 to 5 for technical roles. Per her, this is quite common in Nagarro & she is not an outlier. ctd in comments

They hired me for a package of 16 LPA.
So my questions are is it a good technology to learn? Should I say yes and have a career in it?
Will I get the same package like ReactJS or less? What is future if compared with React?
