I used to drink coffee all day and took caffeine pills. Honestly, best thing I ever did was stop caffeine altogether.
I found I was awake, but not really “there” in the moment. That may work in certain jobs but not as much in professional services where sharpness of mind matters
I appreciate this is hard to do in busy season situations but the best thing is good diet, exercise and sleep. I found that the time and effort invested makes you more productive overall (despite the immediate thought that “I don’t have time for that”…)
Totally agree, it’s never good to become dependent on a substance including caffeine. I’ve found most people including myself are dehydrated. Drink your weight in ounces per day. It’s not the easiest. It also could help a person incorporate more walking since you’ll be getting up more often to refill and go to the bathroom.
I found they made me jittery rather than focused. And I’m a coffee drinker so that wasn’t the issue. B12 vitamins might be a better choice, but I also second healthier methods: getting up from your chair occasionally - go for a walk or do a 10-15 minute workout or stretch session, look for whole foods that help with energy levels, try actually getting enough sleep (I know, I know), etc.
Mine are called adderall
Superior to caffeine pills that’s for sure. But prob not something to rely on.
Talk to everyone from the 80s haha. Haven’t you seen that saved by the bell episode with Jessie 😭🫣
I’m so excited… I’m so excited… I’m so scared.
I used them during a busy season once, I would hear my alarm go off, hit snooze, and take a pill and then wait for the caffeine to get me out of bed. It got me through a rough patch but I was dead for a month after I did that. Not recommended in the big picture
I would stay away. It’s how you crash. I would recommend healthier options like water and to get out of your chair every hour. Maybe do some exercising, simple walking, jumping jacks, etc.
Modafinil might be a better option. Originally for narcolepsy but also used off label for adhd. You get to be awake and focused. Plus it doesn’t have druggy side effects or dependency issues like caffeine.
Alp caffeine pouches
There was a saved by the bell about this....
Better do snus
