Has miles redemption become really expensive? Have around 150k miles but cant even redeem a single round trip ticket on singapore airlines, they are asking for atleast 170k for a basic premium economy. Used to be able to do round trip for under 100k miles less than two years ago. Have amex plat and CSR combo but feel like miles are never enough. Thinking of just churning a new card just to buy flight tickets in cash, any suggestions?

We all know how inflation can derail our Retirement Planning dreams!!Though it's better to start investing as early as possible,but HEY, all is not lost even if you start little late. We all have our family responsibilities when we start our career, so "INVESTING FOR SELF" takes a back seat.
Just a perspective, even if someone at the age of 45 years starts investin for his retirement, he can decently manage the same with discipline and regular investing.

Buying a house for ~900K in one of the Boston suburbs - my household income is ~230K. Am I stretching too far?

Under contract to buy my first home - house hacking a triplex. Property has been leased by the same three tenants for the last 5+ yrs, rents haven’t been raised since they moved in. Market rents have risen 70-100% in the same timeframe. All seem like ideal tenants (retired and take great care of the units) but I’d like advice on how to approach the rent increase conversation. Rents don’t make/break my mortgage payment but I’m leaving a lot on the table if I don’t increase significantly.

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

Can anyone invest in Roth IRA asking with 401k or is there a limit based on salary? I was told if you are making above X, you can't invest in Roth IRA. If this is true what's is X amount?

Anyone using Edward Jones? Feel like we did a mistake and rolled over all my husbands retirement accounts from different employers and our kids 529 under them Jan 2020. Since then market is down and accounts lost20%. But the fees every month is pretty high around $200. I am worried to move it to fidelity or some other place and manage myself(not very confident), then I have to sell all of the Edward Jones managed funds and buy new. sell low buy low makes sense but don’t want to loose anymore.
