Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

Take the KPMG offer ... Jump to Deloitte a yr later with a higher offer
100% agree

Salary > Bonus always
KPMG. It’s not just the 13k/yr, it’s the fact that you can leverage that 108k as a starting point for your next role
Enjoy KPMG
I worked for both, and KPMG pays better.
Money talks... What's the question?
Does KPMG pay more because they are less prestigious than the other Big 4?
A1 what does your friend do at Amazon/YOE?
KPMG, this isn’t even a question unless there’s something we don’t know (like you’d hate the team at KPMG or something)
Yea take KPMG no question. If you don’t like it go to different B4 in a couple years. You’ll regret it if you take the lower salary

What's the business / industry / level? Deloitte has moved to be heavier on variable income.
However, without other information I'd 100% go with KPMG.
What practice is this? More salary trumps bonus!
Not sure I get the question unless you really want to work for Deloitte. If you do, I would suspect it’s for other intangibles - better boss, different scope or responsibilities etc. If so, Deloitte is using these other intangibles to validate paying less then market. Since it sounds like you already negotiated and all other factors being equal, just take the KPMG job. Nobody said the Big 4 who compete each other for talent pay the same.
Deloitte is not what it used to be. The consulting wing has moved into being a services firm à la TCS, HCL, and/or IBM. The shift in operating model was done to deliver what supposedly their clients wanted. The S&O of yore is long gone.
