Maybe it sounded scripted but it was still heartfelt and genuine: my immigration story and how that made me appreciate the rule of law. I said it soo many times during OCI's that maybe it eventually sounded robotic, but for the interviewers to laugh and one to say sarcastically "nice elevator pitch", I thought was rude. Thoughts?

I had positions in private sector that allowed me to supplement having a degree with experience but not in public sector. Although my title is a consultant, my role entails the usual responsibilities of a PM (prioritizing builds and features, identifying business requirements, mapping user journeys and stakeholder management). Thought - In the Georgia runoff elections, the best use of Democrat money would be to run ads which seem to have a conservative bent and play up the election fraud conspiracies, claiming the election system is broken and can’t be trusted. Maybe even offer up a way to grieve their frustrations with the system (that isn’t voting obviously). Would be so effing perfect if Rs lost the senate because trump cast doubt on election integrity.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. Is taking a government consulting role a dead end if long term I want to stay in the private sector? I’m currently at a boutique risk firm (3500 employees) where I also do some transaction services. A friend is offering to refer me to a higher level valuation and transaction focused role within a B4 government & public sector practice.

From a pure technical skill perspective this feels like a step up, but does moving to government and public sector position me worse than if I stay in risk?
