Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.

If you think you have a good shot at getting the job you'd be interviewing for, just take the day off. You'll be more relaxed and less distracted in the interview. And you won't be having problems at your job.
Take a day off to prepare your mind and be well-prepared for the interview.
While I would advise against using it unless there’s a legitimate reason, you might have FMLA rights if your employer has at least 50 employees and you’ve worked with them for at least 12 months. If all else fails, you can invoke FMLA for “intermittent leave” for a single day.
It sounds like your current role isn’t fulfilling, so please focus on securing this new opportunity! Good luck! May your prayers be answered for your success!
I tried asking them last time but they said their interviewers only work regular hours around 9-3 for interviews. Seems like i need an excuse to call out sick again shortly and risk my current job for calling out.
Take the sick day. Use it for your mental health and wellbeing, and use the additional time to prep for the interview. If you get the job, use the other sick day before you give your notice. Any job that doesn’t offer at least yearly PTO is not a job, it’s slavery and probably illegal anyway.
Take a day off and appear for the interview, even if you have a very low probability of getting the job. Good wishes for you!
Better to call in sick and enjoy the daty
God. What an awful environment to work in. I’m sorry 😔 I hope you get this new job and it’s a job that treats you with dignity.
