I haven’t, but I know plenty of people who have. Do it if you want to live in a foreign country for a few years (while still working big4 hours). Don’t do it if you think it will accelerate your career advancement. If anything, it slows it down.

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law
