Are all S&O manager roles L4-6? Interviewing for a role which asks for min 5 YOE. I only have 4.5 - I’ve only interviewed for more junior positions at G so when the recruiter asked for my comp expectations I was honestly unsure. What should I be asking? He mentioned I should start getting a number in mind.

Hello Fishes, I interviewed at a company in October and they responded to me after a month. I accepted the verbal offer last week Wednesday. They said they would give written offer in a week. Just got a lateral hire offer for a Sr Associate role with BCG. Contract states that I can go for Consultant promo in 12 months.
