Have yall heard of salmon sushi bake? It’s basically like a deconstructed sushi and you take a scoop of this and put it in seaweed. Basically eating it like a hand roll.
I made it for a potluck and I was a hit!
I feel like the key is using furikake and spicy mayo on the side for more dipping sauce.
Here’s the recipe: https://www.feedmi.org/how-to-make-salmon-sushi-bake/

I have not heard of that! Looks good and definitely an easier approach if you haven’t had much experience with sushi! I was looking at the little rolling kits not too long ago, but never quite got around to getting one. Will definitely give this a try though!
To make typically sushi rolls, all you need is a bamboo rolling mat!! It’s not too complicated, all you have to do is roll the rice and toppings tight. Takes a few times but you’ll get the hang of it
I usually skip the sriracha and uses garlic chili crisp like laoganma
Oh that’s a really good idea
That looks good but tbh I'm a bit puzzled seeing "sushi" and "bake" right next to each other -- I don't want my sushi cooked!
Yeah I call it a salmon bake

Can I use a different protein in this and make it work?
Yes you can also do the same thing but with tuna!
Can I hire you for my next potluck?
You are amazing already. I love all of your posts!
