Have you all noticed a drop in business lately with inflation and all the tariff news? Our numbers have definitely softened on weeknights, but weekends are still as strong as ever. I’m starting to get nervous because my hours are already getting cut though. Are you budgeting differently or making a backup plan in case business keeps dropping? What would you do to prepare?

Yesterday my younger brother called me looking for good hidden swimming spots in the mountains. He was up there with a bunch of friends and their original plans had fallen apart hard. And I go much more often than he does.

I told him I had map pins that are EXACTLY what you need for these hard to find places. I can send them in 10 mins when I get home.

So, I've realised there's a problem with developers, a lot of them are coders, not engineers. And another issue, is that, companies don't really care about their progression as far as I'm aware, so what did you guys do in your own time to transition from being a coder to an engineer?
