Have you presented a scientific poster to an external conference before? What size would you do if the conference only gives you guidelines on max size of 42x42inches? I kind of like the landscape look instead of the square look….

I have not done this before, but would say you could still make it the landscape orientation just do not exceed that 42x42 guideline. I think they have to say something so nothing gets too out of hand maybe. For actual measurements play around with what looks the best in a preview before making choices.

I like to keep my posters manageable so I go with 36 x 42 its big enough to see and fits most conference guidelines
It all depends on what topic youre doing my work is better in portrait as it usually has a big vertical diagram

Need advice. Very Shy guy and girl, met a while back for a side hustle both like each other a LOT, relationship has progressed in other areas but not in the physical realm, primarily because neither officially asked the other out.
