I always ignore messages if I am on PTO. I try to not even check so I'm not obsessing about things in the back of my mind. I think my team is pretty good at respect PTO too but even if someone is emailing, I'll never know because I just don't check lol. Nobody's gotten mad at me for thsi so far

I like that. I need to do better about ignoring all messages when I’m out on PTO. I always fail at that.
It has been blissfully silent from work. We are all off for another week and though I know I have some workaholic coworkers who I am sure are checking in and getting a bit done, no one is bothering each other. I wouldn't respond to any emails right now anyway.

It was oddly quiet this week and last for my company as well. I needed this break mentally more than I realized, so I’m glad it was that way.
I received a few messages from clients. I did my best to hold the line and offer to enthusiastically jump on the issue come Monday, when we go back to work. Fingers crossed I can be as enthusiastic about Monday as I was about my vacation.
