Having 8 years of information security experience, there is a new job opening in AI under data analytics department that I got accepted for, should I leave information security for this? I have been a IS specialist for a long time, and I also got an offer at another big company as an information security lead and I never been a lead before so should I move up elsewhere or make a lateral move to AI?

Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? I was not getting any proper job, I joined a company as System Admin (the position name is only in pen and paper their actual work is data entry operator) on 3rd party payroll. The company only gives salary which is lowest in market. they don't provide any facilities. there is no career growth, learning facilities in this company. Still I am not getting proper job. I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Any tips from women who had to take maternity leave while contracting? I’d been hoping to switch to a FT role before COVID then well you know...After 3 months I finally landed a couple contract opportunities but no luck yet with a FT role.
