Having looked at MBB and some other consulting firms (eg: A&M) cyber practices, teams and offerings, I'm getting the impression that despite seemingly paying better the level and quality of the cyber capabilities in MBB is significantly worse than in the big 4. Is it just me or do other people see this as well?

I get the feeling the salary differentiation is due to MBB work hours compared to big 4 and the fact that they get a lot of lucrative board work as cyber is a 'side kick' to other LoS.

I have two offers, one from Am Law 100 firm and one from Am Law 200 firm. Am Law 200 firm is offering 40K more (otherwise the firms have same hours target and, based on discussions, similar culture). I’m trying to decide between the two based on long term career prospects, both offer opportunity for NEP (not sure how realistic it is at either). Also not sure of overall earning potential down the road. Is the 40K now worth it or am I likely to make that up at the Am Law 100 firm in the future?

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

Like in Dec and March you will see less requirement due to Christmas and financial year ending. Similar what is the best period?
