I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Request phone number of people you meet during induction and Create a whatsapp group.

In the initial days everything is new and you would be running pillar to post to figure how to do mundane task like filling timesheet, log in credentials, vpn access, raising service desk tickets and so many more things.

Firstly I have got an offer from Capgemini.
Then I had interview with mindtree and got selected. They haven't released my offer letter at.
So I asked Capgemini to revise my CTC based on Mindtree offer even I didn't received offer letter from Mindtree and they told they need offer letter inorder to revise.
So guys what can I do in this situation. My last working day also few days away.
What if Capgemini won't revise my CTC.
And I am thinking CG offering me less.

Many startups ask for assignments while interviewing for their strategy roles and never come back after you submit it. It wastes a lot of time considering difficult work-life balance in consulting.

How do you cope with this? Can we ask for a case round instead so we don’t waste our precious time in writing assignments for them?
