hello fishes,
need some advice.
my current ctc is 16 with 5.6 years of experience. I was a contract hire and parent company wants to hire me.
company is service based company.
my current title is senior analyst but they want to make me manager.
they are skipping tech lead and team lead positions.
they are ready to change 5 days working from earlier 6 days working.
they are asking me my expectations.
we are on client location and there is no one above us. Also team is not technically sound.FSS

It's not same. may be it was just a screening round where they were evaluating you if you are suitable for the project or not.

@Infy I am also in Testing (automation) and 3.6 yoe only. I have also had some really easy interviews in many service based companies who were ready to give immense hike but I didn't join them. If you are really good at automation and coding then do try for product based companies. Their interviews will be hard but if you are skilled enough you can clear. I will be joining a well reputed financial product based firm next week with a very good hike. Don't bother with these service cartels (WITCH) they are in a really bad shape as of now as no one with good technical skills wants to join them.
