I’m an experienced candidate who recently got an interview at BCG. Assume I’m not successful and I were to go for a one-year MBA starting in the fall, will I get an interview even if I don’t do the GMAT? I heard MBBs like the GMAT for MBA candidates, but if I can get the interview without the MBA, will the gmat make a difference while I’m in the MBA?

If you completely blow your interview and the recruiter schedules a call to connect, and you know this is a rejection, how do you prepare for that? I can be positive but I know how bad the interview went. It’s one of those where I’d like them to send an email and get it over with. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time. However, 2 weeks back they delayed my doj for 2 weeks and conveyed that their business is not good now due to recession ,also informed that I ll be on bench for few months even I join there. Many startups ask for assignments while interviewing for their strategy roles and never come back after you submit it. It wastes a lot of time considering difficult work-life balance in consulting.

How do you cope with this? Can we ask for a case round instead so we don’t waste our precious time in writing assignments for them?
