hearing layoffs in PwC Advisory SAP practice. How much of this is accurate?

I seem to go through this cycle where I'll try to fix a problem, fix it and then go back to my old ways. I'm trying to fight against it but basically my performance review is coming up and I think it's likely I'm going to be let go because of my failure to meet expectations. Earlier in the year I was going through a rough time and working through it, I have gotten better over the course of the year but I feel it's not enough. I got fired from my last job. I'm so sick of this cycle

I love my WFH in PwC India & base location of Kolkata. & the best thing is stability in PwC India, they never lay off!!

I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do. How hard is it going to be to for me to find a new job? Should I just stay and try things out? What next?

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. The reasons for my dismissal are unclear and I would like to get legal advice on the termination agreement and severance package that was offered. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

Do you take the current economy into consideration when receiving job offers? For example you receive a good offer from a company like Meta/TikTok but are hesitant because they could be laying off soon or rescind an offer versus a lower offer at a more traditional and stable company that tends to be less reactionary with regards to layoffs? Not my current scenario but just curious. I would like to make a move from current employer but this economy has me spooked.
