Depends on your specific background and what part of cybersecurity you want to get into. Often, the first entry point into cyber for someone with IT experience is Security Operations (SOC), focusing on vulnerability management, event monitoring, and incident response. Take some courses through Cybrary.io or other web training and work toward a certification like CompTIA Security+.
You could also look at the governance, risk, compliance side of the house. Your IT experience plus a formal training or certification will go a long way.
