Probably not. HR told me only bills with your name can be reimbursed. If connection is from a local company, ask them to provide a separate bill with your name. They usually do that.

Yes it has to be on your name. If you try to edit the bills, it would be caught in gst reconciliation during audit few months later.

Oh really 😂 Thanks I was thinking of Editing the bill, good that u explained earlier otherwise I would be in trouble

Life / Career Advice: I applied to medical school since my MCAT score was set to expire, ended up getting into 1 program. I also have an opp to join a well funded/well established Healthtech Startup (6 figure salary w/ equity + benefits) as a BD professional. I enjoy the business side of things and am unsure if I would end up practicing Medicine (medicine is also a long arduous path). At the same time, having an MD holds a lot of clout/authority in HC. Any thoughts on what I should do?

As someone with a background in the military, is it worth it to try to go back to the government as a tax analyst or senior tax analyst for the Dept of the Treasury? I'm wondering if I'll have an edge in getting hired as I've been at the GS-13 level before I left the military and I'm hoping I can use that time in service to add to a pension time requirement in the government.

Received a job offer for an industry senior job that would be a $20K pay bump plus nice bonus and really good benefits (a lot better then my current benefits) and much better work/life balance. However, I was pretty much guaranteed to be early promoted to manager this year (in August). I don’t really see myself staying until partner so I’m trying to weigh out the pros and cons to help me make a decision.

Anyone else? I have a full set up (multiple monitors, standing desk, the whole nine) in my home office, but as often as I can (like when I have a webinar or training to watch) I like to sit on the couch with just the laptop and get the full benefits of puppy snuggles 🥰🥰
