Hello. Been in banking about 8y.Just completed MBA. Want to transition out of banking but it seems hard. Making about 55k a year after bonuses and considering I now have my MBA I’m looking for something a little more to move on. My goal is about 70k considering I have 8 years of experience an an mba is this unreasonable? This search seems IMPOSSIBLE I’m open to other types of roles don’t have a particular role or career in mind. Any suggestions that will allow me to transition out of Banking.

How does one go about landing a role at IG, Meta, Snap, Reddit…etc. I’ve reached out to so many recruiters that never reply. I feel like my application is just sitting amongst thousands. How do you get in front of someone at one of these companies ?! Sincerely a yearning strategist…

I got hired to be the SME on a particular tech platform at my current company. I have more experience on it than my boss does, yet during a code review, he insisted that I delete a section of code that was perfectly functional and shippable and swap in his preferred code. Two hours later, he figured out that the reason why there were more than a few compiler errors in the code was because my code actually worked… smh.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?
