Hello everyone,

I am working as an accountant currently with 2 years of experience, however, I want to switch to ESG/ Sustainability Research. Can anyone please suggest if I should get a master's degree in it first or get an entry level job first then go for a master's as there are only a handful of reputed collrges offering it.

Thanks!

I have been a practicing (patent prosecution) lawyer in different firms for about 20 years. I would love to do something more creative but still techie (computers, telecom, apps, etc.). I am also kind of an academic at heart, but I live in a locale where professorial jobs are pretty limited and we're rooted here now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Does anyone who switched from consulting to product management have any recommendations of h helpful PM books, courses, or programs?

Additional Posts in ESG, Sustainability Jobs

I'm a newbie in sustainability sector. I'm confused whether to continue in sustainability or shift to other domain like prodman. Sustainability is gaining traction for sure in India but I'm a bit skeptical about the future it holds. There isn't much visibility about the career trajectory too, considering it to be a relatively new field. I feel it like a debate between exploring a niche vs general field. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking to build a career within the ESG consulting and strategy space. I am in a career transition phase and have a tax consultancy background from a Big 4 for 5+ years. However, I believe I have gained some skills that are transferable to ace at ESG consulting as well. While I am still in the process of upskilling myself and gaining the required knowledge, could you help me with referring my CV or with some leads?
