What is the salary of a Grade 2 Manager
Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

I got an offer from another company. Currently working in walmart. The main idea behind getting an offer is to ask for a salary rise. I was very much underpaid here. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Variable pay in accenture is scam, I too have Capgemini offer in my hand , joining in a week, as per my knowledge Capgemini is way better than Accenture comparatively

For Capgemini no hike till you will be in Capgemini because for senior employee they will never give any single rupee as hike. If you are okay with CTC for next 5 years with same package then you can join Capgemini.
Same happens in Accenture - no pay hike and no variable pay either
Be cautious if you are planning to join Capgemini. They are currently engaging in extensive 'pool hiring,' where resources are recruited based on anticipated future demand. This process involves multiple internal assessments and client interviews just to get allocated to a project. If you aren't assigned to a project within a certain timeframe, you may be pressured to resign. Ensure you are being hired for a specific, confirmed project and try to get this commitment in writing from HR.
I was in accenture previously 8 years back and currently in capgemini.
Work life balance wise both are okay. (Prefer which is near to your home.)
Cap BTO is very strict. Accenture don't track hours i guess.
Cap you will not get hike for next 1 - 2 year..
Accenture will give hike but variable pay expect very minimal.

They give me very low for level 9 , They offered me 11.70 Fixed, total Experience 8 years Project Management. LWD in HCL is 22 May and Joining in Accenture is 27 May , regret to accept accenture offer.
