I have accepted the offer few days back and yesterday on the workday portal of Accenture I have seen the application is "No longer under consideration". I have reached to the Poc and he told that due to the disable candidate, my candidature has been put on hold. He told that he will get in touch once there will be any openings for the Application developer position. But I am still not able to process that happened with me. Going through such mental trauma is truly haunting.

Hi everyone - I'm contemplating an offer from a large PI firm. I'm a little more than halfway through completing my 2nd year of practice, and I'm currently at a small firm with a low salary that's just no longer cutting it.

The offer from the large firm is for a pre-suit position, base salary of $100K - is this salary pretty standard for this kind of position?

I wish people understood that not every aspect of a relationship needs to be a democracy. Sometimes, the relationship is a Caribbean Island and you are its dictator. You don't have to compromise on every single issue and not every compromise is going to be 50/50. Ideally, you perfectly align half of the time, 40% of the time you compromise, and 10% of the time it's a unilateral decision.

For instance, because of my career, where we live is a unilateral decision on my end for whoever I date.

Should I break up with my girlfriend?
