Hello Deloitte 🐠 20 YOE. Have referral for a content and marketing M role in cybersecurity -- the focus of my career pivot. Submitted my application today, but my referrer isn't in Cyber. Interested to widen my Deloitte Cyber network to get my resume in front of a human, since ATS has no vision or imagination. If you're willing to connect, please DM. So far, made it several interview rounds into roles with EY and Accenture. Optimistic, but want to be as proactive as possible. Thanks!

I went through 4 rounds in my early career One week is nothing in Google time. You passed an automated filter, not a human review. Their hiring pipeline moves at a glacial pace. Stop refreshing your inbox and keep interviewing elsewhere; if they want you, they'll find you in a month.
I've heard it was instituted relatively recently. One my former classmates said he didn't have to take one and he's been there only a couple of years. Trying to remain optimistic with the hope it would just be more than that. I've also heard it could be a six step interview process these days so like you said glacial speed. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
Congrats on passing the assessment. That is a big step.
At Google it is common for follow ups to take one to three weeks, sometimes longer depending on team matching and recruiter workload. If you do not hear back after two weeks, a polite follow up email to your recruiter is completely fine and expected.
Thank you for that. Really appreciate your input.

Congrats — that’s no small feat! Totally get the waiting anxiety. I’ve heard it can be 2–3 weeks before hearing back post-assessment, but the silence can be brutal. Hope you get good news soon — keep us posted.
Yes. The anxiety is alot to handle, especially when its a role you really want. I will definitely keep everyone posted as I progress in the interview process. Keeping my fingers 🤞. Thank you for your kind words. Really appreciated 👏
