Hello everyone, I'm in my 20s and I want to start my own business. A little background about me: I have a bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing and I'm currently working towards an MBA. The problem is, I'm not sure where to begin... Does anyone have guidance on this? Should I seek a mentor to help me start up my business? Where can I even find a mentor for this?

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?

I was initially considered for an insights and analytics Manager - experience management opportunity, aced all the interviews and the recruiter got back to me saying they really liked me but are considering me for a Senior Consultant position in order to ‘set me up for success’, and that I could be promoted to manager anywhere within 3 to 6 months..

Started welding around 9 years ago. Continued at my local community college for my associates degree, jumped into being a welding tech. Then continued for my bachelors degree. Now I’m a welding engineer and teach part time at the community college I initially went to. AWS Certified Welder and CWI. Making good money in my early 30s.
