Can anyone shed some light on quant funds please? https://groww.in/mutual-funds/escorts-tax-plan-direct-growth
I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

You won’t / frankly shouldn’t get more

Agreed

It’s £5k
The worst they can say is no, so why not ask and find out?
My impression is that the offer is good as described above by other people, however I would still try to ask more, maybe in the form of a sign on bonus. Changing jobs is tiring, this is the only moment when you’re at the opposite sides of the table and have at least some negotiating power on them, so I would use this opportunity to max out your offer.
You can ask for a bit more, if they say no try to push for a sign on. Worst thing they say no 2-3 times and you accept as is.

They’ll probably say no as 68k is the start of the manager band. The offer they’ve given you is pretty good
I'm in the same boat except at the very beginning stage of the interview process. Can I DM you for some info?
Sure
You cant. And wont. They’ll have assessed you for Manager and decided SC is appropriate and go from there. If/when you promote (18 months time earliest as we’re at mid-years now), you’ll go at the bottom of the Manager band at 68.
Always ask for more if you want to - don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise. If they cannot give you a higher base, maybe they can give you a sign on bonus.
Yeah do this, appear difficult and watch the offer get pulled.
