Hello fishes, I got the offer from Hashedin by deloitte Deloitte USI , having 7 YOE and the position they are offering is Engineering Management Master (Level 5). Looking to the role it seems like the package they are offering is low (30+ LPA) + 0 to 16% variable. I negotiated with HR but HR is very rigid. Please suggest shall I apply anywhere else to counter the offer ? Is there any chance if I counter the offer they will agree to match it or increase ? Your suggestion means a lot to me 🙏.

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

My utilization went to 50 in IBM, I think I have taken paternal leave since it went down. My manager put my as PIP improvement goal in checkpoint.

3 Things to keep in mind which changing jobs:
1. Always ask dedicated budget for the job before you tell your expectations.

2. Always have atleast 2 weeks of gap before you join any company. You might not understand significance of that but just have a gap.
