Just joined S&C from 8 YOE in industry. Joined as M1, but was also a manager in former industry role. How soon is reasonable to be thinking about promotion Senior Manager? What kind of salary increase comes with this promotion?

I left a IB role ~ a month prior to coronavirus having had something else (PE) lined up. Lo and behold, COVID paused hiring, and it has been extremely difficult to justify being unemployed this long (since Feb). Any advice?

I’m considering starting to study for the audit section of the exam since it will be changing in July. Is it not worth trying to cram everything into the next month and taking it by the end of June? Or should I just wait until July to start studying? What is the best way to structure a discovery call for SaaS sales? e.g. share a deck, only focus on their use case (current state, goals, pain, etc.), share a story, etc. Lastly, how do you go further than surface level, like if they mention they are having issues with xyz, which is usually a symptom of the problem and not the problem itself.
