I have been a strategy and planning associate for a year and a half (first job out of college), I found that I'm not really cut out for this sector of advertising and would like to get more into the creative area. I've applied to countless copywriting jobs but only get rejections. Does anyone have any advice? Are there other areas I should be looking? It’s so nice that every agency laying off people, have those left standing (and other agencies) trying to hustle jobs for their unemployed friends, but there are also a ton of people who were unemployed prior to Covid...so no severance, job hunting lot longer, and not earning income for longer time...hurting even MORE due to quarantine.
