I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

Infosys vs tcs for job Security?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

EY going through some pains now but we are starting to turn the culture back around. New leaders coming in July so would expect a change. You should explore the oppty. When EY culture is right; it beats all the others easily.
Things are not trending better… worse in fact
EY culture is trending more positive in the last year. Some good momentum but agree audit mindset slows down the firm growth. I’ve been at both Accenture and I prefer EY overall. Accenture lost its way the last couple years trying to be a low margin commodity shop which now shows in the stock price.

The audit mindset will never go away.

MD at EY is L4 and Junior L3 at ACN. Depends on which part of the business you’re going into. Rocky road for many.
That’s what I meant. There’s always overlap in salary ranges. I’ve had SMs who made more than first year income partner at Deloitte in the region back in the days..
Chase culture not comp. It’s a career not a paycheck.
MD at EY is a joke. It used to be considered equivalent to PP, now they’re officially 2nd class citizens as a step from SD to P. Don’t do it. There are better roles and firms out there.
Yep, same as Deloitte
Don't do it
Why?
MD at EY range is wide. Would widen the range stated by EY2 above - 90% fall within $400-700K range in total comp. There are outliers above $1M but not many - mostly later career experienced hires in EYP or consulting.
We are facing the same headwinds everyone else is - it really depends on the SSL and competency you’re being recruited into. Consulting and EYP were mostly built on external hiring over the past 10 years so there is more tolerance to hire from the outside here vs. other firms - at least from what I’ve seen, for better or for worse. Good luck.
6 month check. How’s the current situation? I’m about to enter the process to discuss lateral DAP to EY-P.
I would avoid it like the plague. That place is a shambles. Out of interest what part and group ?
This is always the case, and always will be. The Big4 are first and foremost, accounting firms.
They expand into consulting for the fatter margins, but anytime the waters get choppy (for example post-Enron regulatory scrutiny, or in this case a failed IPO attempt), the partnership closes ranks and Audit partners always call the shots.
This is not me throwing shade btw - Accenture has its own issues that are equal to, or exceed those at EY. They’re just issues of a different nature.
EY MD will most likely be a pay drop from Accenture.
MD2 - I didn’t offer an opinion on what should, or should not be true. I’m simply observing what “is”.
I happen to agree with you. But people got used to 20+ years of appreciation. Now they’re having to adjust.
I am not l4 at Accenture… been held, unfortunately . clicking up.
Having left ACN as an L3 get as far from it as fast as you can and if your aren’t an L4 and they are willing to give you the partnership take it
Well backlog at Accenture is a roll of the dice and frankly not going to be hostage. I am optimistic but can’t ignore if someone calls.
