Hello everyone, I need suggestion regarding carrear transition. Devops or data engineering which path should I choose, I am software test enginner with 7 yr of experience.

I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. The KPIs seem achievable and I’ll be in charm school to help build support within that timeline. Most of me thinks a 2 year path under these circumstances realistic but my inner skeptic is jaded. Will wipro stick to their commitment on expected CTC which was called out before 1st round of interview? I remember saying 24 fixed pay expected, however not sure if the recruiter heard it as 24 CTC. I had asked once again before the interview if the expectations can be met, he said it has thats why inviting you for interview.suggestions

What is the point in asking why do you want to switch after all interview process ? Haven't HR seen resume with all career progression for a candidate before shortlisting that resume which means they are fine with another Switch. If at all they want to ask this question so as to eliminate someone , they should ask this as the first call by them before scheduling the interview. It is a two process i.e. you need a resource and we don't ask them why do you want to recruit us ?
