I also had struggled with this issue same salary - 4 LPA YOE - 2.6
Learnt a new technology that interests me and after almost 1 year of continuous giving interviews I recently got a respectable salary
More than 3x of what I have now.
Be positive. Focus on consistent learning according to market demand and you will grow eventually!! Cheers!
Can you please tell what technology you have learnt and how did you get the work experience on it?
Must ask yourself, what matters most
Loyalty to the Compnay, CTC or the type of job you are doing.
Always multiply your YOE with minimum no 2 and if CTC is less or equal to YOE, you are underpaid in current market and must think of switching.
For ex, 3*2= 6, CTC = 4 #Underpaid
Just a friendly advice, don't take it any other way.
Loyalty pays nothing now a days.
So it's CTC I suppose and that what I am trying to communicate that learn and be patient. You will also join CTC wave 😁
Same situation here..I was in BPS for last 3.5 years with 3.6LPA..But for last 6months i was moved to Manual testing in my same project..So I learnt new things about testing and gave interview with portraying as total experience in testing and got 7LPA(96% hike). Which i also think that is Underpaid and I'm feeling low because I haven't asked for more CTC thinking that initially I want to switch from BPS to IT. now I got the role as Test Engineer but by seeing the current market and other guys here I feel low that I didn't ask or get current market CTC.. But good thing out of it is I have got experience of CTC and market now and have to learn good technology stuff to sustain with good perks🙂
Don't worry. You have just started in your career. The relationship between salary and the yoe is not always a linear one. You can have exponential salary growth provided you upskill yourself and keep learning.

Kisi ne kisi aur ko down dikhane k liye nhi choda company, har resignation ek reason hota h, wo work related ho sakta h, money related ho sakta h, wlb related etc. Aur agar kisi ko issues nhi h to wo switch na kare but debate krna kisi mtlb ka nhi h kyunki sab questions puchte h company se related because everyone could have doubts. Ye mt soch ki isko itna mil rha, agar aisa lg rha h ki you are getting underpaid(this also depends, if your/family expenses are not managing up with current surely go for switch), surely I understand you concern, I was also in same salary range as you, and felt it wasn't manageable since I have a family to sustain, 4 LPA se just groceries, monthly expenses hi fulfil ho pate h, so had to move on. Its not to brag about its for sustaining the fam. And every fishy who has switched I believe would be ready to help if you require any help in referral, or questions related to Interviews, Im also helping out people with any queries they have and making them feel positive.

Infosys 7.5 fixed
Intellect design 8 fixed 1lakh variable
Hcl 8 fixed 1 lakh Variable
Capegemini 8.5 fixed
All are asking to join on 26th jan only 2 days left which one to choose for good carrier abd for WLB.
