New job exhaustion? I started a new consulting job on Monday and I’m mentally and physically exhausted- not from work but from the newness. Any tips? I’m embarrassed about this and surprised im not more motivated to impress

I just started meds yesterday and the change in my focus and attention to detail is mind blowing. My only concern is, just yesterday I had a tough feedback session with my manager around how I’m taking too long to complete my work, giving them anxiety around close deadlines. I’m new in the job (3 months in). Should I explain anything about my adhd to my manager or just wait for them to notice the change in me?

Any tips for organizing a bedroom, closet, dresser & bathroom? My teen has IADHD, and low executive functioning. Her room looks like a land mine. Clean clothes are mixed in with dirty, her desk is a disaster, she won’t let go of clothes she’s outgrown, drawers are open with clothes hanging out. A therapist said to close her door if we don’t want to see it but it’s more than that. She needs this important life skill & I don’t know how to help. Easier to organize w/o her but that’s not a solution.

Has anyone used some kind of adhd coach or just like a therapist or psychologist that you’ve found useful and could recommend? 🙏

Any advice on how to pick the best company for me when offered a position from more than 1 company? I've been interviewing extensively with 4 companies, and I believe 2 are getting ready to send offers. If I receive more than 1 offer - how do I choose? I compared benefits, pros/cons, compared them on Glassdoor, questioned them about growth opportunities, asked about their culture.....anything I am missing? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I know that feedback culture is part and parcel of consulting, and I feel it is contributing to my anxiety and depression. At the same time, i enjoy the problem solving aspects and don’t want to do a career change.
Anyone having the same problem? What have you done to help yourself cope with the culture?

Something funny happened yesterday. Ordered take out for my family and went to go pick it up. I get there mask on, cold, my jacket is zipped to my nose. I'm like I'm here to pick up. He's like"how are you". Im like good. Then he's like"you're not going to ask me how I am". I'm like "sorry, how are you". He said he's good. Then her offers me some tea and was like drink this. HR agreed and told will fast track your bgv .
Now the problem is they released offer for 11thJuly saying will preponed in case bgv finished early.
Today I again got a mail for 18th july extension.
