About rolling off my project with no new project opportunity yet. I received an offer for 80k to work as a desktop engineer for TCS at one of their client’s locations. Hi Accenture people, got offer today, asked HR about project, she mentioned it will be mapped on first day itself and will be connected with project manager. I told her i need details about the project and she said she will talk to project manager and get back to me tommorrow. Everyone says we have to search project after joining only. After working 5+ years and letting life happen, I ended up back with a staff title (no career/group change). Everyone said I was doing well throughout my career. But most of peers are now managers, senior managers, directors, controllers, etc. I really don’t want to compare, but how do I deal with this so it doesn’t bother me? Has anyone else been in this situation? I feel partly ashamed because all of the work I put in didn’t get me very far in my career.

Only get a MacBook if you already have a windows pc, citrix workspace works best on a windows. In mac you cannot use shortcuts like Alt+tab inside the VDI. So choose wisely

This Monday is Mondaying. First my internet didn’t work then my phone started acting wonky. How’s everyone else doing?

My neighbor is a bit creepy/lonely (?). He comes over to chat when I’m outside working on the house or doing yard work and doesn’t catch on too well to social cues. He’ll mention small details about my routine or new changes to the house (just moved in). It’s a bit uncomfortable and I’ve had a few awkward moments with him already.
