Hello, I am a Linux system engineer and have been working in Oracle engineered systems from past 10 years. I got some exposure to oracle cloud but it is so difficult to get more exposure in oracle projects to build knowledge and my experience. In the Job portals , its so rare recruiters asking for oracle cloud. Looks like canada do not have much oracle projects. Hence I learned AWS. Want to make use of my knowledge but how?B4 Advisory teams do not have good oracle practice. Agree?

Big4 MD vs a non Big 4 (GT/RSM) or Boutique (CFGI/A&M) Partner. Any thoughts on which is a better path for longer term compensation and leadership opportunities. For context, am a high performing MD - been in top 5 PPMD by book of business in my practice for last 5 years and endlessly waiting to for a Partner promotion. So thinking to move on and try non-Big 4’s.

Hi all, are we able to negotiate salary in big 4. Was informed that it's a rigid pay structure and there's no flexibility.
Also, raised this to HR who kind of stonewalled me and my superior trusts HR so much and has asked me to deal with it myself. Also noticed that the superior has been avoiding any discussions with me ever since. 😐
How should one approach this issue? Would ideally like to stay as I like the job, but I'm kind of feeling restless knowing that I'm not paid fairly.

Does anyone have experience with this - I am an elementary resource teacher and currently have a 1.9 caseload. Our CBA states that we will receive a stipend for up to a 1.4 overage, and anything over that needs to be given to another staff member. How do y’all deal with depression during your cycle? I used to deal with depression pretty heavily, but it has become more manageable & not as all consuming in the past...except for when I’m on my period/pmsing. I become down for no reason and feel the same way I felt during the most challenging times of my depression.

A supervisor has been in their role for over 10+ years and has a poor communication style with their employees. This results in several employee relation cases from them over the years. They've been resistive to many suggestions in changing their behavior to communicate with their employees better and still believe they're not wrong. How would you tackle this kind of situation? BTW. I am an individual contributor and deliver business solely without any skip level manager. I have communicated the same to my coach and he is promissing me a promotion next year. I do have an offer from EY as Asst Manager so should I wait for Deloitte to revise my pakage or should i put down my paper and then bargain.
