Hello, I am a TVC had a recruiter reach out to me a few months back and I wasn’t able to move on with the interview process because of the contract and was told to reach out when my contract was over. The recruiter has since been laid off and after doing some research I found out the new recruiter that’s handling my application. I reached out to him on LinkedIn but haven’t heard back. Would it be okay to reach out to him on the internal Google chat?

The job itself sounds pretty interesting. Lots of opportunity for growth (eventually will build out a team).

My only concern is the hiring manager. I talked to someone in my network who has worked with him in the past and she told me that she would 100% work with him again bc she learned a lot, but that he has a very dominant personality and that some ppl can butt heads with him.

Is it weird that I feel less technically knowledgeable after a year and a half of audit than when I graduated? I just started a technical accounting job, and there are glaring gaps in my knowledge of basic stuff I knew during college. I just never saw it in audit.

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!
