And then, just today, I was informed that a company is interested in hiring me for a Project Mgr position. It is a privately owned with several branches in the US. I would say a small to medium sized company but not the usual company that an IT professional would consider. They are also willing to give my asking salary and offer certs. Would you accept it while waiting for that dream opportunity?

Recently lateraled as a public defender in HCOL area to ID in LCOL area for $$$. I’ve been at the job a little over a month. 6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭
