Hello. I work as a VA (veterinary assistant) for a vaccine clinic but am wanting to maybe go into a work from home position for a while. Are there any remote positions for VA’s such as like triaging or answering call backs or going over non-emergent doctor notes with clients? I’ve been in vetmed since 2017 and have a decent amount of experience working in full service clinics. Just need a change of pace for a while I continue schooling. Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I need help. I think I’m being underpaid at my job I’ve been at for 3 1/2 years. I’m a full time receptionist for a veterinary hospital but I also manage the reception area (I answer all questions and if someone makes a mistake I’m the one the fix it) and am an in house trained veterinary assistant but can do a techs job (unlicensed) and I do help the technicians out anytime they need and I’m only getting paid $13 an hour while a crew member at arbys gets paid $15 . What should I do ?

What are some things to consider before going into veterinary medicine?

If you're being told "take your full lunch" (because by law you need to be given a certain amount of lunch depending on how many hours you work) but then you're told, if work's not done you need to stay until it is, and now people don't want to take their full lunches because it means they'll have to stay after work longer, is that coercion a violation of any federal labor laws?

There should be more exotic vetenarian locations than what is offered. I owned a pair of lovebirds and finding affordable petcare within proximity of our home was fairly difficult.

I’m a very experienced veterinary assistant who has been doing this job for about 4 years in total however because of my skill level I would say I am more of an unlicensed technician. I’m looking for input on what I should ask for a raise. Hi everyone, I’m seeking some advice - my dog (8yrs old) was attacked several months ago by another dog and after she became depressed and anxious. We got her anti depression meds and those seemed to help but how a lot now a lot of signs are pointing to a potential brain tumor. To get an MRI is +1k. My mom doesn’t want to spend money but it just hurts me so much to see the behavior - she walks around in constant circles, looks sad, seizures, hides under the bed. Any advice would be appreciated.
