I’ve been a data/business analyst for almost 5 years, plus 10+ years of customer service in various positions. I have also been a store manager for a few years. I'm trying to figure out how to pivot out of my current job. My department is in utter chaos, which has just become completely unmanageable. I'm looking for front-end web design work, and work from home. I am a strong designer and basically set up landing pages for large companies on a proprietary CMS in our company. If anyone knows of places I could apply? I'm not trying to reinvent myself as I do artwork on the side and would rather grow that business and get out of the chaos of fortune 500.

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

I'm worried that if I speak up, she'll make my life even harder. I don't want to lose my job because of this—do you guys have any advice?
