Hello portfolio review bowl! I was laid off earlier today and find myself back on the market. Luckily, I had a bit of a hunch that this was coming and have been working on my site for a few months. I would love some feedback and would be happy to DM you my site. I have 10 years of experience as a Designer / AD in the NYC market.

Tomorrow is my first day at my new job after being layoff... I enjoyed seen this post with stats so here is mine:)

10-20 recruiting condos (some pass on me, some I passed on because they were not fully remote, salary or long hiring process)

From the 3, 1 company just declined no feedback the other 2 send offer letters

How many days would I be able to stay If I Country if I quit (not fired) my job that I have a h1b for? Moving to Canada and need some time to close up shop here.

Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking

Need advice - I've been talking to a Partner contact at a big-4 firm where I REALLY want to work. She sent my info to the managing partner in my city, but I haven't heard anything for about 3 weeks. MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company?
