Hello!
I am receiving an offer from EY in their climate change team as senior consultant (I believe S2). Salary: 110k, Bonus: 10k (need to stay for 2 years to fully keep it). My background is in environmental engineering and health and safety and I’ve worked in the field in consulting/industry for 6.5 years now.

Is this a good offer? Should I accept? My goals are both professional/financial growth in a good company.
This is AFTER I negotiated the first time salary( 95k and 10k bonus).

I would definitely aim for 125-130 base range if you’re an S2.

I would advise just going back and saying you’re very much excited about the role and the only last piece to consider is the salary. Say we’re close and would accept the offer if they can do 125-130 base but otherwise it’s tough to accept. Reiterate interest and last remaining item as salary for hold back.

I’m new to this bowl, but is it possible to know whether the offer is good without knowing COL information?

I would say it is a pretty good offer if OP is in LCOL or MCOL area.

I got started at 95 for a Senior 1 role and when I mentioned my experience, they bumped me up to 110. Based on that and my COL location, should I still ask for 125-130?

UPDATE (RE: SoCal Assistant Controller Interview)

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)
